Morinville Veterinary Clinic offers many general surgery services. General surgery includes a variety of common and elective procedures performed under general anesthesia. Examples of common surgeries include: spay, neuter, lump removal and biopsy, laceration repair, abscess and wound repair, exploratory surgery, removal of gastrointestinal foreign bodies, cystotomy (removal of bladder stones), and skin biopsy. These procedures usually require general anesthesia, which we know can be scary for pet owners. The veterinary team at Morinville Veterinary Clinic strongly encourages you to ask any questions you have in regards to your pet’s anesthetic procedure. We routinely use pain management medication in our general surgeries to insure your pet’s comfort.
